California Native Plant Foods Celebration and Symposium

The symposium, which is supported by a generous Programmatic Initiative grant from CA&ES with matching funds from the Department of Plant Sciences and the California Native Plant Society, will bring together over 220 Tribal leaders, academic researchers, government agencies, and food system practitioners. It is being organized by faculty, staff, and students from several UC Davis units, with Tribal community leaders and representatives playing key roles as advisors, panel speakers, discussion leaders, and cultural demonstrators.
